ABOUT BROTHERS UNITED
The primary goal for BU is for our young men to come to think rationally about racism and ethnic issues as a socially responsible citizen should. However, “Historical Trauma”(HT) and Post Traumatic Slave Disorder (PTSD) still has a major effect on black men today and they are suffering from academic distress that keeps them homeless to the knowledge of themselves. Furthermore these disorders are real and refer to the cumulative emotional and psychological wounding of an individual or generation caused by a traumatic experience or event.

Brothers United is located in St. Cloud, MN. Our mission is to offer boys to men the tools they need to take control of their life. Whether that means getting a G.E.D., getting a job, or developing positive life skills. BU offers you a chance to turn it around and make a difference to yourself , your family, and your community. We also want to provide personal coaching and weekly healing circles in a therapeutic environment. We will provide excellence in the treatment of the physical body, which will support the psycho-social and spiritual needs of yourself. (Knowledge of Self 360°).
